I’m Dan, and in 2016 I decided to have a go at running – just running – as an activity I could pursue without having to rely on other peoples’ availability.

I’ve always enjoyed sport, but addiction and mental health issues have always been present, too.
This means that whilst I have loved running over the past couple of years, I have, unfortunately, experienced relapses and associated mental health issues.

I have decided to create this site as a record of my current commitment to staying sober, healthy and engaged in as much positive activity as possible and, hopefully, to share experiences of the wonderful world of running, throughout 2018 and beyond.
